Privacy policy
Ciniki is a chat app for Solana DeFi, operated by SOJMINES AND CO. LIMITED, a company registered in Nigeria (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information Ciniki handles, why, and who else sees it. Ciniki has no accounts and never holds your funds or keys, so we handle very little.
What we handle
- Your public wallet address. When you connect a wallet, the app sends its public address to our servers to show balances, positions and orders, and to prepare transactions. Wallet addresses and their history are already public on the Solana blockchain. We never see or store your private keys or seed phrase.
- Your chat messages. What you type is sent to our servers and to our AI provider to write a reply and prepare tickets. We do not keep a copy of your conversations on our servers. The conversation lives in your browser tab and is gone when you close or reload it.
- Your IP address. We use it to apply message limits, so one person can’t use up the service for everyone. We keep a running count per IP address and per wallet that is deleted automatically after the daily window ends. Our hosting provider also records IP addresses in standard request logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Transactions you approve. Transactions are signed in your own wallet and sent to the Solana network, where they are public and permanent. Nobody, including us, can change or delete them.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or ID to use Ciniki. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or rent any information.
Buying crypto with cash
If you choose to buy crypto with a card or bank transfer, you do it on the page of a payment provider such as MoonPay. That provider collects your payment details and any identity documents it needs, under its own privacy policy and terms. Ciniki does not receive your card details or documents. We may receive the status of your order, the amount and the wallet address it was sent to.
Who else processes information
- Vercel hosts the app and keeps request logs.
- Anthropic runs the AI model that reads your messages and writes replies. Under its commercial API terms, it does not use these messages to train its models.
- Upstash stores the temporary message-limit counters.
- Jupiter provides prices, swap routes, lending and orders. It receives your wallet address and the transactions you ask to prepare.
- Solana network providers (RPC) receive your wallet address to read balances and send signed transactions.
- DexScreener and DefiLlama provide public market and yield data. Our servers request this data, so they don’t receive your information.
- Your wallet app, such as Phantom, Solflare or Jupiter, handles signing under its own privacy policy.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union.
Storage in your browser
The app stores a small amount of information in your own browser: which wallet you last connected, so it can reconnect, and a short-lived sign-in token for Jupiter orders, which is cleared when you close the tab. We don’t use cookies for tracking.
Why we use this information
We use it only to run the service you asked for: showing your wallet, answering your messages, preparing transactions, keeping the service fair with usage limits, and keeping it secure. Our legal basis is providing the service you request and our legitimate interest in running it safely.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Nigeria’s Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or complain to your data protection authority. In Nigeria, that is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Because we keep so little, most requests can be answered quickly. Information already written to the blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.
Age
Ciniki is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly handle information about children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
